About the class

This Advanced Traditional Upholstery course runs once a week on Thursdays 9:30am-4:45pm for 12 weeks. Each student works on a beautiful chair frame, first designing their chair, building a fully sprung seat and stitched and stuffed shaped back using traditional methods and materials. The chair frame* has been designed by us – and is based on a beautiful original – made in solid beech by our frame-maker in the UK.
