Continental springing methods: a short class

On this morning class, students will learn how to tie down springs in the continental style. Students will be provided with a practice frame and will use typically continental materials, including 8.5cm wide jute webbing, white linen twine and French laid cord. This class is suitable both for complete beginners who are keen to master springing, and upholsterers who would like to broaden their skills repertoire.
(After years of using the British method of tying down springs, we recently learned the continental method from a French upholstery expert, and are now fully converted. Bien sur!)

It is with regret that, due to the impact of coronavirus restrictions on our timetable, new dates for this course are yet to be confirmed. We are hoping to bring it back very soon. Please do email us if you are interested, thank you.
