AMUSF upholstery courses timetable
The Traditional Upholstery School is one of a handful of centres approved by the Association of Master Upholsters and Soft Furnishers to provide training toward its industry-leading qualification, the AMUSF Diploma.
This professional-standard course is taught in three stages, each involving around 210 hours tuition. All our one-year courses are based around the terms of a normal school year, starting in the first week in September and running through to mid-July. Half terms and holidays follow Wiltshire’s school term dates.
AMUSF Stages 1, 2
AMUSF Stage 1 can be studied in the single academic year from 8th September 2020 to July 2021, attending on Tuesdays.*
Students of this course can then proceed to study Stage 2 on Tuesdays from September 2021 to July 2022.
Looking ahead: Students enrolling on Stage 1 starting in September 2021 will study on Mondays, with the subsequent Stage 2 training beginning in September 2022 also being on Monday. Following courses continue in this pattern with alternate year groups running on Mondays and Tuesdays.
AMUSF Stages 3 - Diploma
The final AMUSF Stage 3 diploma will run on Wednesdays from September to July, every year.
* Our September 2020 Stage One class running on Tuesdays is now full. Students who are keen to find out more should contact us to receive an information pack, and details and timings for our Stage One and Two enrolments starting in September 2021.
"Mondays were always my favourite day of the week. The tutors
are knowledgable and great fun too. I made friends for life on my course."
